Day Of Light

A special, audiovisual experience with Brian Eno’s new album LUX.
Brian Eno and Warp will be hosting a special public broadcast event online on the 17th November. His new album LUX will be broadcast ‘live and in full’ four times on Saturday 17th November via this website.
During the broadcasts listeners from all around the world whether at home, in a public space or travelling, are invited to upload or send in their own photographs taken during listening, capturing the light theme of this album. These photographs will be curated by our team in real-time, and the results made viewable to the world as an evolving, live and user-generated accompaniment to the music.
LUX, Eno’s first solo album in 7 years, is a 75-minute piece in twelve parts and was itself inspired by the play of light through the window of his studio. While all photograph submissions on this theme are welcomed, Eno particularly encourages listeners to take pictures of subjects as the light of your day changes, perhaps out of the window of the room where you are listening to the album. Photos will be moderated on submission.
